Fire Irons

I am unable to date this set but would place them around the late 19th century. There are 3 irons; shovel, poker and tongs. All three sit neatly in the stand. It is a simple kit with the only assembly with the only connection being the upright on the stand will need to be glued into the base on the stand. 

Detailing is very fine and the set is very delicate.  

The irons could be used on their own with the stand being repurposed as an umbrella stand or similar. 

Poker, shovel and tongs are all approx.  5.9cm long  The stand measures about 6.5cm high.
