Sparrow Tureen unfinished

2cm tall (pot without the lid) x 2.5cm diameter at opening- the perfect size for a nice juicy casserole!

Adorned with flowers and leaves in the prettiest of patterns wth a little bird (possibly a sparrow) resting on a tiny branch on the lid. The sparrow is of course the handle for the lid and the sidehandles are twisted branches.

The tureens are amongst some of my more quirky and pretty items. The ideas for the Tureen can be simple to the most exciting....simply painting the Tureen and displaying it on the shelf or filling it with a wonderful rich gravy and meat with some of the juices burnt and cascading over the side of it.

The item is supplied unpainted.

Pretty Antique Provence Teapot



Size

Approx. 16mm tall x 17mm wide



This beautiful little teapot is part of the Antique Provence range and has a removable lid ready for some tea and comes unfinished in dull pewter.

The pewter can be polished or painted. If painting please apply a thin layer of metal primer. This will help the coat of paint adhere to the surface.

Pretty Antique Provence Patterned edged Gravy Boat





The pretty wavy edge and the embellishments on the border make it part of the Antique Provence tableware collection. The collection has an array of matching items all of which have been cast in metal and are as delicate and to scale as I could make them.

Finishes:

Supplied unpainted and in their raw state (pewter metal alloy), the plates can either be polished or primed and then painted (using a spray paint will avoid any issues with "clumping" and "brush marks").

I have photographed them for you in both the unpainted state and a painted finish with a brown wash to age them. If you choose to paint then age them then try a pale cream as a main base colour and then using raw or burnt umber (watered down) wipe them over to create a warm aged appearance.

These beautiful little bowls are part of the Antique Provence range and come unfinished in dull pewter.

These tiny cups (to scale as far as casting processes allow) are perfectly formed and look beautiful when painted.

This type of statue you do not see everwhere, however they are always fun to see. This statue is unpainted and made of resin

These wonderful candlesticks are available in 2 sizes L = 4cm tall and S = 3 cm tall

Sold in kit form this wonderful 5 armed wall candelabra is a copy from an 18th century design. It is both elegant and opulent. They would look wonderful in almost any 12th sscale room but I think either side of a mirror or painting gives them real focus.

These are not electrified

A very simple kit. The little arms fit neatly into the little holes that are located under the finial. Simply glue them in place and to speed up setting time use a super glue activator.

A selection of beautiful French door funiture. I always think that it is the little detail that finish off a room so I have developed a small range of pretty French door harware. Among the selection are cremones. These are locking handles that can be applied to both doors and windows. You will need to add additional dowel to them and a bead at the top and the bottom to simulate a catch. To purchase the design simply choose from the drop down menu and the image of the handle will appear then choose quanitity. Some are left and right handed.

Prime with a metal primer then finish in your choice of finishes. Some would look spectacular highlighted in gilt with a black base. All designs are copies of original French door and window furniture.
